Mindil Beach Sunset City Tour
This small group Darwin city tour begins following convenient hotel pick-up from downtown Darwin. Explore several of the loveliest locales in the capital of Australia’s Northern Territory. Count the masts of tall ships in Cullen Bay, glimpse towering cruise yachts at Stokes Hill Wharf, and soak up the local flavour where Darwin’s main thoroughfares intersect in the bustling heart of the city.
Following your urban exploits the Darwin city tour then heads north towards Casuarina Coastal Reserve and magnificent sandy beaches and views. Named for the eponymous evergreen shrubs that dot its scenic coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for ospreys and sea eagles darting among the mangroves as you stroll the beach, searching for smooth stones and sea glass.
From Casuarina Coastal Reserve, head towards Nightcliff Jetty and East Point Reserve, pausing at both picturesque destinations to snap photos and admire the brilliant surf. At East Point Reserve, keep your eyes peeled for wallabies who love to explore the smooth, sandy spits between the rocky headlands.
Late in the afternoon we visit the famous Mindil Beach Markets. Here you can try the unique flavours from the markets or sit idly by and watch the best sunset in Australia from our exclusive VIP seating area.
Lights out and it is time to take you back to your accommodation around 7:30pm.

Children over 7 years of age are permitted on PUBLIC group tours. There are no age restrictions on PRIVATE CHARTERS. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The tour when operating as a PUBLIC tour has a minimum number requirement before it is confirmed to depart. Failure to reach this number may lead to cancellation of the tour. ethical adventures reserves the right to cancel at any time.

We pick up and drop off from all accommodation options in Darwin. Palmerston by appointment only.
Fitness
Persons of moderate fitness and agility as evidenced by the ability to walk up a flight of stairs unaided without having or feeling like you might have a heart attack are suitable for this tour
